Each network gets the version that fits it, at the time you set. Here is what each connection publishes, how it connects and which permissions it needs.

Personal profile

Posts to your personal feed, with images and a first comment published right after the post.

Publishes: Text up to 3,000 characters, up to 9 images and a first comment. No video.
Connects through: LinkedIn’s official authorisation page.
Permissions: Basic profile details (name and picture) and posting on your behalf.

Status and groups

Your WhatsApp Status, and groups you are a member of, from your own number.

Publishes: Status: text up to 500 characters, an image or a short video. Group: text up to 4,096 characters, an image or a short video.
Connects through: Green API, a third-party connection service: you open a connection with them, scan a QR code from your phone and enter the connection details in FlowSocial.
Permissions: The connection details are kept in an encrypted vault. You choose which groups to post to.

Channel

Posts to your Telegram channel, with one photo or an album.

Publishes: Text up to 4,096 characters, up to 10 photos. No video.
Connects through: You add the MoneyFlow bot as an admin of your channel and enter the channel’s name.
Permissions: Only the “Post messages” right in your channel. Remove the bot from the channel to revoke it.

X

Account

Short posts to your X account, with up to 4 images.

Publishes: Text up to 280 characters, up to 4 images. No links and no video.
Connects through: X’s official authorisation page.
Permissions: Reading your account details, posting and uploading images, and staying connected so posts go out at the time you scheduled.

Facebook

Page

Posts, photos and videos to the Facebook Pages you manage, including Reels.

Publishes: Text, up to 10 photos, feed video or a Reel (up to 20 minutes, up to 300 MB).
Connects through: Meta’s official authorisation page.
Permissions: The list of Pages you manage, publishing to the Page you choose, and reading engagement on your posts.

Instagram

Professional account

Photos, carousels, Reels and Stories to your Instagram professional account.

Publishes: An image or a carousel of up to 10, video as a Reel or a Story (3 to 90 seconds). Every post needs media.
Connects through: Instagram’s official sign-in page.
Permissions: Basic account details, publishing content, managing comments and insights.

TikTok

Account

Videos to your TikTok account, from the same content calendar.

Publishes: Video only: vertical 9:16, 3 seconds to 10 minutes, up to 200 MB.
Connects through: TikTok’s official authorisation page.
Permissions: Basic profile details (display name and avatar) and publishing videos.

YouTube

Channel

Videos and Shorts to your YouTube channel, with a privacy setting for each video.

Publishes: Video only, up to 200 MB. A vertical video of up to about 3 minutes goes up as a Short.
Connects through: Google’s official authorisation page.
Permissions: Uploading videos and reading your channel’s details.

Threads

Profile

Short posts to Threads, with an image or a video.

Publishes: Text up to 500 characters, and one image or a video of up to 5 minutes.
Connects through: Threads’ official authorisation page.
Permissions: Basic profile details and publishing content.

Google Business

Business Profile

Updates to your Google Business Profile, shown in Search and Maps.

Publishes: Text up to 1,500 characters and one image.
Connects through: Google’s official authorisation page.
Permissions: Managing your Business Profiles: listing your locations and posting updates.

LinkedIn, X, Telegram and WhatsApp are open to every account. The other networks are built into FlowSocial and open to every account network by network, as each network approves the integration. The Channels screen in the app always shows what your account can connect.

No passwords

FlowSocial never asks for or stores a password for any network. Most networks connect through their own official authorisation page.

Permissions in an encrypted vault

The networks’ access tokens are kept in an encrypted vault, separate from the rest of the system’s data.

Disconnect at any time

Disconnecting a channel deletes the access keys we stored and cancels the posts scheduled to it. You can also remove FlowSocial in the network’s own settings.
